Shandra Brown Levey, PhD

Dr. Shandra Brown Levey received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. Her pre-doctoral internship training was completed at Park Center, Inc. in Fort Wayne, Indiana and her 2-year post-doctoral fellowship was completed at the University of Colorado Department of Family Medicine. She currently works as a licensed clinical psychologist at the A.F. Williams Family Medicine Center in Stapleton and the Office of Integrated Healthcare Research and Policy, both within the University of Colorado Department of Family Medicine. Through her work, she strives to advance the field of behavioral health and primary care integration with regard to clinical, operational, educational, and financial perspectives.

Dr. Brown Levey’s research interests include primary care psychology, the psychology of pain, depression treatment in primary care and instrument validation.

Dr. Brown Levey and her husband have a little girl, Flora; and they enjoy snowboarding, hiking, scuba diving, volunteering and traveling.
